Why? Because those of us who love dogs are better people. 🐶✨
When this adventure began, it started from a place of learning and, also, of some disappointment. 😔 There were times when dealing with people was difficult, but soon came an unexpected twist: deciding that MasTorrencito would be a place for people who love animals. 🐕💖 And no, it was no accident. It was a thoughtful decision, born from observation, because I realized something very simple but powerful: those who love animals are usually more tolerant, more empathetic, kinder and much more grateful people. 🌟
It was a risk, I know. Deciding to do this meant giving up more than 60% of potential customers, because not everyone enjoys the idea of loose dogs running around, barking with joy or exploring freely. But the risk was worth it. And every day, when new guests arrive, I have two big curiosities on my mind:

2️⃣ What will their dogs be like? 🐕
Because here, every new arrival is a little adventure. You never know which furry companion will walk through the door: will it be a playful puppy? 🐶 A calm senior? 🐕🦺 Will he be sociable? Will he get along with Masto, Maky, Mastitwo and Mamas, the doggy hosts of the house?
And yes, I admit that sometimes I worry about these things, but deep down I am certain that this decision was the right one. 💡 Because MasTorrencito is not just a shelter; it is a refuge, a temporary home for those who know that their pets are much more than just companions.
The beginning was complicated.
I admit that at first I found it hard to say no to those who did not have pets. 🫤 There were those who did not understand why, even with all the love in the world, I could not accept their reservations. And it wasn’t to exclude them, far from it. On the contrary! I did it thinking about the real stars of MasTorrencito: the animals. 🐾💛 Everything here is designed for them to be happy, to run free, so that their humans can relax without worrying about bad faces or whispers.
Because, let’s be honest: how many times have you felt those sidelong glances when your dog barks or when, by an oversight, does something «out of place»? That doesn’t happen here. 🤷♀️ If your furry one does his business, you pick him up and that’s it. No drama, no awkwardness, no uncomfortable whispering. That’s how it should be, right? 😊
A special place for special people.
MasTorrencito is not for everyone, and it is good that it is so. It is not for those who see their pet as just another accessory or for those who think that, because they pay for a room, their dog has more rights than others. ❌ This is a place where all animals are equal, where there is no hierarchy between the German shepherd that runs happily through the garden 🐕 and the little poodle resting in the chocolate room 🐩. Everyone has their space here, from my own dogs to the shyest furry visitor.
And that’s what makes MasTorrencito so special. Here we understand what it means to be truly petfriendly. It’s not just about accepting pets; it’s about celebrating them, embracing their presence and their energy. 💫
Because, let’s be clear, there are many places that claim to be petfriendly, but impose a thousand restrictions: «the dog can’t bark, can’t get on the sofa, can’t go here, can’t go there…». 🙄 At MasTorrencito, the experience is different. Here, your dog is part of the family, but always respecting other guests, furry and human.
And you know what, I realized something over time: people who love animals are, for the most part, better people. 🌟
Yes, there will always be exceptions (there are assholes everywhere, let’s admit it 😅), but when I see someone who dedicates his free time to walk his dog, to worry about his happiness, to make sure he is not alone, I know that is a special person. Those are the kind of people I want walking through MasTorrencito’s doors. 🏡🐾
Because, if you give me a choice, I will always choose those who put the welfare of their pets above their comfort. With those who understand that this world is not only for humans, but also for those furry beings who teach us, every day, what unconditional love means. 💕🐾
