{"id":4299,"date":"2025-05-19T05:19:56","date_gmt":"2025-05-19T05:19:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/casaruralconperrosgirona.com\/the-client-who-left-her-riding-crop-and-handcuffs\/"},"modified":"2025-05-19T05:19:56","modified_gmt":"2025-05-19T05:19:56","slug":"the-client-who-left-her-riding-crop-and-handcuffs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mastorrencito.com\/cat\/the-client-who-left-her-riding-crop-and-handcuffs\/","title":{"rendered":"The client who left her riding crop and handcuffs&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>(and no, they were not for the dog&#8230; I think).<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>Ahhhh, friends&#8230; Am I surprised? <strong>PO-SI-BLE-BLE-MEN-TE NO!<\/strong> \ud83d\ude02 At this point in the movie &#8211; and after hundreds, thousands of doggy and human guests at Mas Torrencito &#8211; few things leave me with my mouth open&#8230; but there&#8217;s always someone who makes you crack a crooked little smile as you think, <em>\u00abThis only happens to me.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>Today&#8217;s story begins like many others: a room, a hasty exit, and a forgotten object. Well, <strong>objects<\/strong>, plural: a riding crop, some handcuffs and, attention, a bag that didn&#8217;t seem to be carrying cookies for the dog&#8230; \ud83e\udd10 <\/p>\n\n<p>I&#8217;m not one to look at what I don&#8217;t care about -although I admit that curiosity gets the better of me than dieting at Christmas- but when you open the door and see that pack&#8230; well boy, one thing leads to another, and your mind goes off on its own to a movie that clearly <strong>isn&#8217;t Disney<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-post-featured-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1536\" src=\"https:\/\/mastorrencito.com\/cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/esposas.jpg\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail size-post-thumbnail wp-post-image\" alt=\"La clienta que se dej\u00f3 la fusta y las esposas\u2026 by MasTorrencito\" style=\"object-fit:cover;\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mastorrencito.com\/cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/esposas.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mastorrencito.com\/cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/esposas-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/mastorrencito.com\/cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/esposas-683x1024.jpg 683w, https:\/\/mastorrencito.com\/cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/esposas-768x1152.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>And of course, the funny thing about this is that she was one of those customers who are serious, the kind that don&#8217;t smile much and make comments like: \u00abI don&#8217;t know what to say:<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u00abMy little dog only plays with me, I don&#8217;t want him to hang out with other dogs.\u00bb<\/em><br \/>Sure, honey&#8230; and <em>neither do you<\/em>, huh? \ud83d\ude0f<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>It is the same one that comes two, three, even <strong>four times a year<\/strong> (round trip-&#8230;. round trip&#8230;). From Switzerland to the Canary Islands&#8230; from Canarionas to Switzerland &#8230;&#8230; By car. With his dog! \ud83d\ude97\ud83d\udc36 Crossing half of Europe so that the doggie can step on black sand and you can breathe warm air. Admirable. Truly admirable. What I don&#8217;t understand is why, after that 4,000 kilometers journey, you arrive at <strong>the first petfriendly rural house that admits people<\/strong> and&#8230; YOU DON&#8217;T WANT TO SEE OTHER DOGS! \ud83d\ude33<\/p>\n\n<p>In other words, you bring your furry friend to doggy paradise&#8230; but you&#8217;d rather there were no more furries.  <strong>Only you. And him. And no one else.  <\/strong>  As if Mas Torrencito were a sort of <em>Fifty Shades of Fido<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<p>And the funny thing is that he always repeats. Always. And always the same. She comes, stays, enjoys&#8230; and makes it clear with her eyes that she would prefer to be the only inhabitant of paradise (her and her beloved dog, of course). Her partner, by the way, <strong>doesn&#8217;t say anything either<\/strong>. She limits herself to being. To exist. Sometimes I suspect that the handcuffs <strong>were for him<\/strong>&#8230; \ud83d\ude2c       <\/p>\n\n<p>And I, who already see it coming, when I know they are coming I pray to Saint Lazarus of the Lost Collars so that we don&#8217;t have too much \u00abdoggy atmosphere\u00bb that weekend, not because of me&#8230; because of his face. That face of <em>\u00aboh, how upset I am going to be if a Chihuahua dares to stare at me&#8230;\u00bb<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n<p>But hey, to Caesar what is Caesar&#8217;s: they never complain, never give bad reviews and pay religiously. Of course, <strong>the whip and handcuffs have been left on them several times already<\/strong>. Once again, in the same room, behind the door. Could it be that they want to leave a mark? Could it be a subliminal message?
